QFT - Cameo - Born 2015.07.21

Meggie has given birth to a bay colt with four white socks and a blaze by Candillo Junior (stamm 890 - Candillo Z x Caretino x Lord x Raimond).  The colt’s name is Cameo.  His full pedigree can be seen by clicking here. Meggie, as expected, is being an exceptionally kind and loving mom.  This is her first foal delivery (her previous two were embryo transfers - Vida MB and Samira MB) and she is loving every moment of it.  Cameo is an inquisitive, friendly horse that looks very much like his sire Candillo Junior.  He is very playful in the field and mom follows him around as seen in the picture below. We have great expectations for this colt and will not be surprised to see him making a Cameo appearance at the Olympics of 2024.  Who knows, perhaps in the middle of the podium.

Quintefino - Born 2016.06.01

Samira has given birth to a dark bay cold by Contefino (Contender x Corofino).  The colt’s name is Quintefino and will be known as Q (Think 007 or Start Trek - your choice).  His full pedigree can be seen by clicking here. Samira is being a good mom that is excellent at disciplining her foal right from the start.  She is happy being a mother and the colt is bouncy and already jumping around.  Perhaps this colt will also make it to top in show jumping.  Samira is a very powerful jumper and so is Contefino.  The future is bright.  Only time will tell.
